I turned away at the unmanned Gibson Island gate today. Gibson Island is a scenic 2.5mi x 1.25 mi island owned by its ~600 residents, and admittance is not granted to the public. It sounds like you may be able to demand brief access past the gates to mail a letter at their federal post office, but you might be better off devoting time to your own finances so that you can get proper access to the island one day .
In order to get rid of ssh passwords for dropbear, you need to set up ssh rsa public/private keys. Google ssh-keygen, its pretty straightforward.
The trick is that SSH is very picky about permissions. On the dropbear box, make sure to chmod 600 ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file, chmod 700 ~/.ssh and (this is the weird part) chmod 700 ~ as well!
If your problems persist try starting dropbear with -E, that will spit the debug output to stderr (which is probably your console by default).
I wasn’t able to find this solution anywhere else on the net.
I don’t usually watch SNL but I found myself at home this Saturday. I mean yeah I was going to a killer party later. Actually I went to a ton of parties. All. Anyway the show kind of sucked but this thing was great. It has Bon Jovi and the Foo Fighters in it.
The parties were famous by the way. I saw the president.
